Renew Health Ltd Winner of Emerging Medtech Company of the Year at 11th Medtech Awards
Athlone, Ireland, 8th December 2017, Renew Health Ltd (Renew Health), a connected health medtech company, announced that it won the Emerging Medtech Company of the Year award at the 11th Medtech Awards event which took place in Galway, Ireland last night.
“I am delighted, on behalf of Renew Health, to accept this emerging medtech of the year award”, said Declan Cassells, MD of Renew Health Ltd. “Since we established ourselves in Ireland in November 2014, we have built a great commercial enterprise in Europe with a growing portfolio of emerging disruptive products for the healthcare space” he continued.
This year, Renew Health expanded its commercial reach of its CerezenTM product beyond the UK and Ireland to continental Europe. The product, indicated for those who suffer from jaw pain associated with Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD), is sold to dentists as a unique and effective treatment solution for TMD. Further this year, Renew Health acquired, through its Ultralinq business, the Belfast based company, Intelesens, which has a portfolio of wireless vital signs monitoring products for hospital and home care use, including the ZensorTM product which allows for the detection of Atrial Fibrillation in patients. These products, together with others in its portfolio, will help expand Renew Health’s reach to make available pioneering technologies and solutions that will improve patients’ lives.

Almost 500 Medtech business leaders gathered in Galway for the 11th Irish Medtech Awards. Renew Health won the prestigious Emerging Medtech Company of the year award at the event will took place on last night in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway. The event was part of the two day Medtech CEO Forum, hosted by the Irish Medtech Association, Enterprise Ireland, and IDA Ireland.
